Update 13-Aug. :
The planned changes have been completed and we had a total downtime of 20 secs only.
Even though we still have some database minor refinements to carry out, now we can really announce: Unframe is here!
Later today we will publish an article from one of our selected guests, the last one for this month: the already anticipated vacation waits for us!

A brand new logo and some slight design changes are just the starting points for a constantly improving project with a new, simpler name full of meaning.
We have changed our name and brand! Provisum-Illumina started experimentally as a spin-off of Provisum design studio. It has grown and matured, and we decided it's time to give the project its own identity.
I already registered the trademark and in the next few hours I will deal with all the necessary changes for completing the transition to the new web address (unframe.com) and, with it, all the changes in the database. I can't hide a bit of nervousness.

I will try to reduce downtimes to the lowest level possible. Just keep in mind that some of the site functions could stop working for a short period. Some blackouts are also possible.

Once the transition is completed, remember to take note of the new address for the next time you visit.

Google tools say we have around 7000 pages that link to us and I'm very grateful to all those who have supported us. Even though all those links will be automatically redirected, I recommend you take a minute to update the new url in your links and your bookmarks.
One-third of our visits come from search engines and we foresee a possible drop in this percentage of visits for the next month.

I'll keep you updated when the first changes will be made!

The new unframe site needs volunteers; I will post the details on the info page shortly. If you are interested, talented and want to be involved in the project and credited, send us your resume or, even better, some samples of your work. We will start with 4 team member positions.

As a side note, I want to urge our readers to use the contact form in the info page for sending personal information and personal inquiries only. All other kinds of questions should be posted in the forum instead, where all the users can benefit from your question and the answer -- somebody may have been wondering the exact same thing you asked.

It's summertime and we'll be taking advantage of it to take a small vacation. During this month publications and support are slowing down. We'll use this time to carry out the announced changes and a bit of maintenance, and we'll resume full activity in September. See you then!
