Domenico Ruiu, born in '47 and resident in the Town of Nuoro, Sardinia, for over 30 years with his objective captures landscapes and protected species on the island, and more: he is a photographer, writer and author of important documentaries and dossiers. He is an accurate and committed expert of Sardinia territory, expecially the area of Gennargentu. He also works in all Europe and its shots are used by major nature magazines (Airone, Nature Today, Oasis ...).
He also made several exhibitions and published photography books and hundreds of articles. Recently he published for Fabula publisher a remarkable collection of shots entitled "Emozioni. Viaggio nella natura del Gennargentu" (Emotions. Journey into the nature of Gennargentu) where with his highly poetic sense he captured "stolen moments" while climbing the Supramonte paths, the cliffs of Orosei Gulf, among the brambles of Gesturi ...
