80 images by the photographer Daniella Zedda will be exhibited at the Times Center in New York for the personal exhibition "Solitune" (loneliness).
The black and white images - a work 25 years long - portray with extraordinary efficacy the protagonists of the Jazz and Rock'n'blues. The photographer had the opportunity to capture them during the performances in the island of Sardinia, where she lives: Nina Simone, Michael Nyman, Tito Puente, Lou Reed, Richard Galliano, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett, BB King, David Bowie, Eric Clapton and many others. The exhibition is organized by the Autonomous Region of the Sardinia, in collaboration with the Italian Government Tourist Board.
