National Geographic opens to the public its huge subterranean archive in Washington, D.C. : some of the 11 milion photos will be showed in four exhibitions at the Steven Kasher Gallery.
"The World in Black and White: Vintage Prints from the National Geographic Archive" will be the first exhibition scheduled from September 17 2009 until October 17. The photos, which are property of the National Geographic Image Collection, will be available for purchase.
